It took almost 16 hours to finish this tattoo. We had almost 35 tattoo artists traveled from different states of India to attend this amazing workshop.

African Portrait Tattoo by Sunny Bhanushali at Nepal Inked Tattoo Convention. It’s always lively to share creativity and knowledge about stuff that you are good at. Recently Sunny conducted a Portrait tattoo workshop at the Nepal Inked Tattoo Convention, so he picked this tangled and obscure portrait to cover every technique involved in establishing a marvelous portrait tattoo. But along with this he engaged the same artwork in the ‘Best Realistic Tattoo’ category event at the convention. And the jury drummed his artwork as the winner. As you can see it involves very minimal elements which he pulled off with a lot of adroitness.

Muhammad Ali Tattoo by Sunny Bhanushali at Aliens Tattoo India. This German client happens to be a colossal fan of the Legendary boxer Muhammad Ali and wanted to get a memory token from India in the form a tattoo. So with a run for time Sunny sculpted this sparkler using Ali in action in the foreground and brush strokes enhancing the drift. The colours and contrast have come to enticingly. Client lost his younger brother few days ago and wanted to etch his portrait. This tattoo meant a lot to him as it is an expression of love towards his brother. I did my best to bring him alive in the form of skin art. Its was an honour to work on this tattoo.

He got this done as a token of love for his little one(his son) and was overwhelmed by the output. This tattoo took almost 7 hours to complete.

He further wanted to add “Honest Identity” around it in Tamil as a tribute to him. So Sunny summed the watercolor effect that stands beautifully in the background and the customized Tamil script at the root having its own existence. The realism has graced out astonishingly and has harvested every itsy-bitsy of the portrait. The tattoo took 8-10 hrs to yield the desirable payoff. Share it if you like it ?

Marilyn Monroe Tattoo by Sunny Bhanushali at LongIsland Ink, London. Client was very sure about the design and concept. He wants a full sleeve tattoo, however starting with Marilyn Monroe tattoo. He was in search of good realism tattoo artist in London. When he got to see my work through LongIsland Ink, he found the right artist. Client waited for more than a month for me to arrive in London to get his tattoo done. Here is the output, check it out people you are gonna love this piece of art. Photos were taken after 24 hours of tattoo.

Leopard Portrait Tattoo, Inked by Sunny at Aliens Tattoo, Mumbai. This is the same client who got the Elephant tattoo from us, as he keen on getting a full sleeve with couple of African animals, here is the second progress to the original full sleeve tattoo concept. We did a lot of research on which cat animal can go with the theme, as we thought that having a tiger or a lion is pretty common as a tattoo so we looked for many other cat family animals and finalised on this one. Hope you all liked this one.

Chatrapati Shivaji Tattoo by Sunny Bhanushali at Aliens Tattoo India. I always wanted to work on Shivaji Maharaja’s painting, however gotta chance to work on this tattoo. Client wanted to get tattoo of Chattrapati Shivaji on his arm. He had some references from google search, however he was interested in copying any of them. He visited many tattoo studios looking for the right tattoo artist to execute his tattoo design requirement. After looking at our tattoo portfolio he gave me all freedom needed to execute this master piece. Its a fusion of Maratha Theme, Realism and Geometric Style. I have spent almost 16 hours(3 days) to design this one and 10 hours of tattooing. Share it if you like it.
